FCC and the City Council of Alcobendas
de Madrid organized last 21 September the
Children’s Road Safety Seminar, bringing
together family members of FCC emplo-
yees, as part of a collaboration agreement
to promote measures to encourage road
safety and education within and outside the
Company.
The aim of the seminar was to disseminate
and to create awareness among the adults
and children of the importance of safe ha-

participate in a
bits when walking as pedestrians, riding a
bicycle or driving a car.
FCC workers and their families went to the
Road Safety Park in Alcobendas where
more than 60 people got together to share
their experiences and to learn about road
safety in a fun manner.
The seminar consisted of an initial training
class for children at one of the classrooms
in the facilities, teaching them the basics
about signs, the basic rules for riding a bi-
cycle, and safe habits when travelling. Af-
ter the class, there were practical lessons,
conducted by the local police of Alcoben-
das and the park’s managers in the driving
circuits with karts and bicycles
