FCC Aqualia participated in the 1st edi-
tion of the Environment and Sustainable
City Fair in Castile-La Mancha which
was held in Talavera de la Reina from 11
to 12 October. At one moment during
the inauguration ceremony, the mayor
of Talavera de la Reina, Gonzalo Lago,
accompanied by Arturo García-Barroso,
head of FCC Aqualia’s service, visited
the company stand. The main theme
of the stand was the end-to-end water
cycle in this city in the province of Tole-
do and Telecommunications and Infor-
mation Technologies (TITs) implemented
in the water network. Members of the
community who visited FCC Aqualia’s
stand were able to learn about the va-
rious phases of the end-to-end water
management in their city and the new
technological developments for a more
efficient use of water. The objective of
these new developments, based on in-
novation and on the application of infor-
mation technologies, is to contribute to
creating smart services for citizens and
to more sustainable cities.
