In his agenda of meetings with management
teams from the different FCC business units,
on 30 September Juan Béjar, vice-chairman
and CEO of FCC, toured the facilities owned
by Tratamientos y Recuperaciones Indus-
triales, S.A. (TRISA), in the town of Constantí
(Tarragona), accompanied during his visit
by Aurelio Blasco, managing director of the
Industrial Waste department of the Environ-
ment division.
Activities of the Group’s vice-chairman and CEO
The industrial treatment facilities started
operations in 1985 and is the first plant
authorised in Catalonia for performing the
physical-chemical treatment of industrial
waste. The plant is owned by FCC Ámbito,
the FCC Group subsidiary specialising in in-
dustrial waste management.
Juan Béjar met later at a working lunch with
the mayor of Tarragona, José Félix Balleste-
ros to share opinions on current issues.
Afterwards, they toured the machinery park
and the offices of the Environment Division’s
Catalunya II branch office.
During his visit, FCC’s vice-chairman and
CEO was accompanied by Jorge Payet, the
managing director of the Environment Divi-
sion; Pablo Martín, manager of the Environ-
ment Division’s Zone I, and by Jesús Padu-
llés, manager of the branch office
