In El Campello, the protection and
conservation of the coasts was rewar-
dedwith a blue flag at the Carrer laMar
and Muchavista beaches and an envi-
ronmental quality certificate thanks to
the quality of the waters, the upkeep
and cleanliness of the surroundings,
and another certificate was given for
the services and equipment provided
in all of the beaches.

Communication systems
The vessels cover all the assigned areas
during the entire working day, concentra-
ting in the spots with the largest amount of
waste and the greatest number of bathers.
They are constantly in touch with the area
managers and with the coordination and
control centre of the corresponding entity.
All operators have a voice and data com-
munication system with GPS so as to be
able to know immediately the location of
each of the vessels thereby facilitating the
resolution of any incidents
Information management
An IT tool, consisting of an online databa-
se, is used for managing data. Information
based on the daily work reports submitted
by the different vessels is entered in the da-
tabase.
This optimised management makes it pos-
sible to process and analyse information
more quickly and comfortably and to report
to the public the most relevant results al-
most immediately.
