New edition of FCC Aqualia’s contest
for children throughout Spain
Coinciding with the celebration of World Water Day,
FCC Aqualia launched the 13th edition of the
international drawing contest which incorporates
several novelties and is being developed through the
website.
FCC Aqualia organised the new edition of
its International Children’s Contest coinci-
ding with the celebration of World Water
Day on 22 March. The theme this year is
“Fill your world with life” to highlight the im-
portance of the responsible use of natural
resources, including water, to contribute
to the sustainable development of our su-
rroundings.
Children in 3rd and 4th grade from the ci-
ties and towns throughout Spain where
Aqualia provides its services are eligible to
participate. In order to encourage children’s
skills in the use of new technologies and to
contribute to sustainable development by
avoiding the use of paper, the contest will
be developed through the microsite www.
llenatumundodevida.es. Children will find at
this site many illustrations (animals, plants,
rivers, fountains…) so that they can re-
create their ideal environment and add the
name that they like the most.
The organizers of the contest say that the
objective is to “create an ideal place and
bring it to life by brining water, people, ani-
mals, and plants, in the same way that their
water company does every day”.
