This is the third Equality Plan adopted
by the Environmental Services Division
following the plans signed by Fomento
de Construcciones y Contratas, S.A.
and Servicios Especiales de Limpieza,
S.A., in 2014 and 2015, respectively,
thereby addressing the particular
circumstances of the different business
sectors, the configuration of the
workforce, and other specialities which,
for each company, have been identified
various diagnosis of the situation.
Three Equality
Plans in the
Environmental
Services Division
The specific objectives of the Equality
Plan are:
•
Promote the defence and effective
application of the principle of equality
among men and women, ensuring the
same salary and career development
opportunities at all levels.
•
Improve the balance in the gender-
based job breakdown within the
sphere covered by the Plan.
•
Promote and improve the women’s
possibilities of holding managerial
jobs, contributing to reducing
inequalities and imbalances which,
even though the roots of these may
be historical, cultural, social, or family
environment, could be present in FCC
Medio Ambiente, S.A.
•
Prevent job discrimination based on
sex, establishing a protocol for
measures to be implemented in these
cases.
•
Strengthen the Group’s commitment
to sustainability and corporate social
responsibility in order to improve the
quality of life of employees and their
families and promote the principle of
equal opportunities.
•
Define the principles to any measures
that could hamper the work-life
balance and personal lives of the
employees of FCC Medio Ambiente,
S.A.
Several areas of action are contemplated
to achieve these objectives, focused on
access to jobs, promotion, remuneration,
work-life balance, preventive and corrective
measures to address discrimination,
prevention of sexual harassment,
communication and protection of female
workers who are victims of gender violence.
Other specific milestones are contemplated
as well as measurements to be made
throughout the life of the Plan, agreed, in
principle, until 31 December 2019, jointly
with the Monitoring Committee in charge
of the effectiveness of the measures
contemplated in the Plan.
