inspect the collectors and to detect offsho-
re spills; five different types of electric trucks
with FCC’s proprietary technology for clea-
ning; and robotised machines for perfor-
ming difficult tasks.
Thanks to the solutions proposed by FCC
to comply with the specifications of the
contract put out to tender by Barcelona’s
City Council, the current city’s sewerage
management system is one-of-a kind. Un-
doubtedly in the future this system could be
applied to other cities and towns that really
want to wager on smart services and which
generate the necessary framework for the
development of this concept and its appli-
cation to public services.
