FCC joins the
He For She
and
Adecco
campaigns in support of International Women’s Day
FCC, once again, joins the celebration of
International Women’s Day, a worldwide
event which has become a space for
reflection on the progress achieved by
women and on other aspects that still
require improvement.
At FCC, this year we want to disseminate
the He for She solidarity campaign
launched by UN Women, the United
Nations organization dedicated to
promoting gender equality and the
empowerment of women.
He for She promotes equality and the
integration of women in different fields,
including the corporate world, and aims
to imply men and children as defenders
and participants in this cause.
In line with the guidelines in the work
framework of the He for She campaign,
FCC’s commitment is reflected in its
active involvement in promoting equal
opportunities.
•
FCC is a signatory of the United
Nations Global Pact as one of the
principles of UN Women’s for the
empowerment of women, offering
practical guidelines on how to
empower women at the work place.
•
FCC considers management of
equality and diversity an essential
activity. Accordingly, it has an
Equality and Diversity Policy that
reflects its commitment to equal
opportunities, respect for diversity,
and the elimination of all types of
discrimination or harassment.
•
Furthermore, within the framework of
the equality and diversity strategy, the
Group has drafted and implemented,
jointly with the main trade unions,
seven Equality Plans since 2008 to
date.
•
In 2014, the main Group companies
signed four agreements with the
Ministry of Health, Social Services and
Equality to increase the number of
executive women in its management
bodies and to achieve, in this manner,
a balanced gender presence in
corporate management positions.

in the campaign sponsored by Fundación
Adecco “No le pongas género, ponle
talento” which reflects on the problem
faced by thousands of women in our
country because of double discrimination:
for being women and for their social and
personal situation.
