FCC launches the
“Tapones solidarios para Nacho”
campaign
FCC launched the solidarity recycling campaign in
Barcelona to help Nacho, a boy who lives in Santa
Coloma de Gramanet (Barcelona) and suffers from
Dent Syndrome, a rare genetic disease linked to the
X chromosome of which there are only 14 cases in
Spain.
His mother Eva is a clear example of tireless dedica-
tion. Ever since her son was diagnosed with Dent
Syndrome, she has not ceased to fight to ensure that
her son is cured. When doctors suggested that she
try to find the funds to be able to start investigating
the rare mutation of her son’s diseases, she did not
give it a second and thought and immediately started
to collect plastic caps.
We want help Nacho’s mother and decided to launch
a campaign in all FCC offices in Barcelona in order
to collect as many plastic caps as possible to send
these to the boy’s family so that scientists can start
to begin investigating Nacho’s diseases.
Everyone who wants to collaborate in this project can
deposit plastic caps in the containers that have been
placed in your offices for this purpose.
Your collaboration will help to promote research in
this very rare disease.
