Extraordinary presence
At this edition of the IWA Congress, FCC
Aqualia wagered strongly on having an ex-
traordinary presence. Besides its commer-
cial involvement as a Platinum Sponsor, the
Company was of the key contributors to
the scientific program.
It had 14 posters and two presentations,
organized in collaboration with entities such
as the Universities of Santiago de Compos-
tela, Cadiz, Alcalá de Henares, Valladolid,
the Polytechnic University of Valencia and
the Complutense of Madrid, jointly with IM-
DEA Water and Likuid Nannotek. In addi-
tion, company representatives coordinated
a workshop and participated in different
forums and sessions throughout the entire
event.
Presentation of the All-gas y ELAN
®
projects
From the commercial standpoint, the
company’s stand became a meeting place
for delegates and visitors. Designed as an
open and transparent meeting point, the
stand hosted presentations every day on
new water management related aspects:
smart cities; the All-gas and ELAN® R+D
projects, and the presentation of the new
Corporate Social Responsibility Report
(CSR) in Portuguese by Rita Antunes of the
Technical Department of the Portuguese
branch office.
The IWA stand hosted an international vi-
deo presentation prepared at the initiative
of Aquarating in which FCC Aqualia parti-
cipated through its water department of
Almeria and where Enrique Hernández, the
Company’s manager of Service Manage-
ment and Corporate Responsibility played
a key role.
