inaugurates new toll
road between
Nuevo Necaxa
and Tihuatlán
The President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nie-
to, has inaugurated the Mexico City-Tuxpan
corridor. The road, built by FCC and the local
construction company ICA, is expected to
have a significant impact on tourism by facili-
tating access to Tuxpan, a major tourist des-
tination which offers numerous attractions.

The new road section
inaugurated by
the president includes the
new Necaxa-Tihuatlán
stretch of the motorway.
Worth an investment of
500 million euro, the new
section will become the
main thoroughfare
connecting the Federal
District with the Gulf
of Mexico.
The project also includes the Nuevo Necaxa-
Tihuatlán road section.
President Peña Nieto was accompanied at
