Safety Tours
•
Tours conducted to confirm, educate and moti-
vate the personnel.
•
Focused on tasks, not on the facilities, to see
how people work.
•
Watch employees perform their work or request
demonstrations.
•
During the tours visitors are informed of the sa-
fety measures that have to be observed (signa-
lling, positioning, etc.) and complied with by the
workers.
•
Attendants and guests can take notes and
point out opportunities for improvement.

The tour of San Lorenzo de El Escorial was
the first of the “Safety Tours” that FCC Aqua-
lia will be conducting within the framework
of the 2015-2018 Preventive Culture Impro-
vement Plan the goal of which is to achieve
excellence in the Preventive Culture. As un-
derscored by Félix Parra during the tour, “for
a long time, we have been doing the right
thing in relation to the Protection of occupa-
tional hazards, but we are not settling on this
and, through our Preventive Culture Impro-
vement Plan, we want to take the leap and
achieve excellence”.
This initiative, which will be repeated in the
future, contributes to bolstering the preventi-
ve efforts of the organization and also helps
to identify improvement opportunities, build
positive relations between management
and the rest of the team, and enhances the
visibility of the Company’s preventive com-
mitment to prevent occupational hazards.
