FCC Construcción’s Safety and Health Department publishes the
Report on Good Practices
The Safety and Health Department of FCC
Construcción published a Report on Good
Practices, an initiative in line with the pre-
vention objectives defined in the Construc-
tion Division.
The report details the good safety practices
implemented at various workplaces under
the premise of ongoing improvement both
in terms of procedures as well as in preven-
tive management.
The following practices have been selected
in this first publication:
1.
The use of rear-view cameras in concre-
te dumpers when executing the body of
a dam.
2.
Rescue device for interior formworks.
3.
Installation of nets in galleries with a
great slope to retain the worker in case
he falls and lifelines for landing and for
changes in the flight of stairs.
4.
Placement of textile lifelines for work
on galleries.
5.
Demolition of concrete using electrical
robots managed by remote control by
an operator.
6.
Acoustic and luminous device to noti-
fy in the event that the safety distance
between aerial electrical lines is sur-
passed.
7.
Installation of pre-gauges in gantry fal-
sework by means of a tubular scaffold
structure in works on roads open to
traffic.
