Ágora Well-being

Congress:

The first edition of the Ágora Well-being Con-

gress transformed Valencia into the capital

of well-being, with 44 first-rate speakers, 11

debate tables, and 250 attendants.

During the course of the congress, the last

trends in personal development and well-

being policies were presented. FCC partici-

pated in the congress with other companies

that are also leaders in implementing healthy

measures.

The first presentation was by Javier Irondo,

writer, philosopher, and well-known expert

in emotional intelligence and personal de-

velopment. For the author of the bestseller

“Donde tus sueños te lleven” (Where your

dreams take you) any personal or professio-

nal change makes it necessary to pause and

to reflect: “if you lose the focus and don’t

have a clear goal, the mind will only envision

problems, fears, and doubts”.

This congress is conceived with the intention

of becoming a unique space for dissemina-

healthy body, mind and habitat

“Creating a culture of well-being and integra-

ting in the strategic plans is good for the pro-

ductivity, efficiency, and the competitiveness

of companies. Ágora Well-being is a meeting

point for professionals who, from different

fields of knowledge, are essential for promo-

ting well-being in companies”.

Juan Carlos took part in the Organizing

Committee of the Ágora Well-being Con-

gress and was a speaker in the “Empresa

y bienestar: Un ejemplo vale más que mil

ting knowledge and experiences on well-

being as an asset that generates great per-

sonal and professional benefits. FCC was

represented by Juan Carlos Sáez de Rus,

manager of the Company’s Safety, Health

and Well-being Department. He described

the work that the Citizen Services Group is

carrying out and his professional vision on

this issue.

“Motivation, commitment, teamwork, leader-

ship, efforts and vitality are highly important

values for the success of an organization.

Flexibility-conciliation measures also contri-

bute to increase the worker’s commitment to

the company and encourage the retention of

talent in organizations”.
