porting a healthy life style, such as healthy

Services Group’s corporate policies that

One of the highlights among the activities
that took place during the open day was
the children’s workshop on road safety
and practical use of the bicycle, led by
Carlos Sastre, winner of the 2008 Tour de
France. Similarly, families all had great fun
at the environmental workshop on the
Waste Cycle, given by FCC staff, which in-
volved children’s games and educational
videos on waste management and the
waste chain, from street collection to its
subsequent conditioning.
Furthermore, attendees were able to take a
look back at the history of FCC in waste
management, thanks to an exhibition of
photographs that illustrated clearly how
dust carts and waste collection vehicles
have evolved over the years. They were
also given a hands-on view of today’s mo-
dern rubbish collection lorries that operate
in the central area of Madrid, and to get
aboard for a photo.
On top of that, the youngest children had
great fun playing on the bouncy castle that
was set up in the centre, and to round off
the morning, everybody received a small
gift as a souvenir of the day.
