Carlos M. Jarque

approves appointments in

FCC Construction and Internal Audit

Carlos M. Jarque, CEO of FCC, the Citizen Services

group, has approved two new appointments: in the

Construction division and in Internal Audit. The decisions

were cleared beforehand by the Appointments and Re-

muneration Committee.

These new appointments “represent another step

towards new organisation structures while reaping

synergies,” said Jarque. In Audit, “we will continue to

implement mechanisms to prevent, monitor and abate

risks and contingencies through efficient coordination of

activities in this area.” As for International Construction,

“the focus is on seeking profitable markets and projects,

achieving efficiencies and optimising resources in order

to attain our primordial goal of profitability.”

Pablo Colio has been appointed Head of International

business at FCC Construction, a position he will com-

bine with his current post as General Manager of FCC

Industrial and Investees. Colio will perform the functions

in the international area that were previously assigned to

Vicente Mohedano.

Colio (1968), who graduated in Architecture from the

Madrid School of Architecture

and has completed a number of

management courses at IE Busi-

ness School, has been appoin-

ted head of the division’s interna-

tional area. He has spent most of

his career within FCC, the Citizen Services group, which

he joined in 1994.

He is currently General Manager of FCC Industrial and

Investees in the Construction area, a position which

he will combine with his new responsibilities. Colio has

spearheaded the Industrial area’s international expan-

sion. He was formerly general manager of Industrial

Construction, deputy director of Building and Industrial

Construction at Ibérica Servicios y Obras, and Head of

the Building Department.

Marcos Bada has been appointed Internal Auditor of the

FCC Group, in place of Miguel Hernanz.

Bada (1974) obtained a degree in Business Administra-

tion and an MBA from ESADE and is a Certified Internal

Auditor (CIA). He was formerly internal auditor at Realia,

reporting directly to the Audit and Control Committee

and to the Chairman. He had previously been Internal

Audit manager at Sacyr (from 2005 to 2008) and ex-

ternal auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) (from

1999 to 2005), where he acquired valuable auditing ex-

perience.

Carlos M. Jarque wishes to thank Mi-

guel Hernanz and Vicente Mohedano

for their service and wishes them every

success in their future endeavours.
