The agenda of the visit also included a mee-

ting with the Spanish Ambassador in Riyadh,

Joaquin Perez-Villanueva, who was thanked

for the continual support of the Spanish di-

plomatic delegation to the project and to the

Spanish nationals stationed in the city. Jar-

que also met with staff from the FCC Aqualia

offices in the Saudi capital and was informed

in person of the details of the projects ca-

rried out by our Water subsidiary in the area.

At the meeting, Jarque encouraged FCC

Aqualia to seek synergies with other Group

divisions and to embrace the challenge fa-

cing all workers of raising the company to a

position of global leadership.

ment objectives defined by the United

Nations.

In Saudi Arabia, FCC Aqualia currently

manages the emblematic project for the

sectorisation and the reduction of leaks

in the Riyadh supply network. The Com-

pany is also in charge the services affec-

ted by the metro project in the city (also

executed by the FCC Group), and the

Hadda and Arana wastewater treatment

plants in Mecca.
