FCC Aqualia,

always against

gender-based violence

More information:

FCC takes part in the campaign against

gender-based violence organised by the Mi-

nistry of Health, Social Services and Equality

FCC Aqualia launched a second edition

of its “Yo, contigo” (I’m with you) cam-

paign to create awareness in the com-

munity in general and, particularly, among

the Company’s workers, on this social

scourge.

Twitter, the social network, was used in

this initiative, disseminating messages

with the tag: #Aqua liadiceNOalaViolen-

ciadeGénero (AqualiadsasNOtogender-

violence). The messages could include

individual or group photographs with a

poster of the campaign, personalised

with the names of those being photogra-

phed or the wish that each of them want

to express in their rejection of gender-

based violence.

The campaign was also disseminated

via WhatsApp with an image that was

designed to be used during the cam-

paign.

Coinciding with the campaign in the so-

cial networks, FCC Aqualia executives

and representatives participated in se-

veral commemorative events organized

in Archidona and Ronda (Malaga), De-

nia (Alicante), Avila and Oviedo.

In Spain, FCC is also participating in the

campaign to raise awareness of gender-ba-

sed violence which is organised by the Mi-

nistry of Health, Social Services and Equality,

entitled “If there is a way out of gender-ba-

sed violence, it is thanks to you”. GET IN-

VOLVED”.

Commitment

FCC has renewed its commitment with the

public authorities and social partners and

will continue to carry out internal awareness

actions so that others are conscious of the

need to eradicate this social scourge and

alleviate its effects on victims.

The key to success lies in transmitting a vi-

sion of change, progress and awareness to

all members of the Group, applied to all ac-

tions whose aim is to put an end to violence

against women, particularly by increasing

communication in the different countries in

the world where these practices are present.
