launches
an initiative to prevent
diabetes
Residents in the La Valdeza and 18 de Abril
communities as well as FCC collaborators
attended a talk last January in which infor-
mation was provided on diabetes, which,
FCC Industrial was awarded a prize by Fre-
map Castellón. The low rate of accidents
at the Gasoductos Enagas joint venture
and the implementation of good safety and
health practices were the reasons for being
awarded the prize by Fremap.
The joint venture is involved in construction
activities and the roll-out of oil and gas pro-
jects, executing projects for Enagas such
as the Musell Llanea gas pipeline (currently
under construction) and the twinning of
the Campo Gibraltar pipeline, the Tivissa-
Paterna and the Yela-Villar de Arnedo pipe-
lines, all completed and in operations.

presentation aimed at building awareness
among the residents and company per-
sonnel on this diseases which affects thou-
sands of Panamanians.

delivered on diabetes, its possible causes,
symptoms, prevention measures, and food
recommendations.
This award underscores FCC Industrial’s
