During the three days of the exhibits there
were interviews, projections, and informa-
tion on FCC’s major projects around the
world. The meetings were also a good ve-
nue for exchanging opinions, offering advi-
ce, ad contributing experiences on interna-
tional mobility.
Everyone who came to the exhibit were also
able to taste the typical products of different
countries, such as dates, various types of
tea, chocolate, nachos, fried plantain, tro-
pical fruits, etc, and there were also cata-
logues and maps of each of the countries
where the Citizen Services Group operates.
A photocall was also organised at the en-
trance of the conference halls and many
FCC employees could not resist the temp-
tation of posing and having their pictures
taken for FCC in the World.
The Riyadh Metro, a high-flying
project
Perhaps the project that sparked the most
interest due to its size and complexity was
the Riyadh Metro, one of the highlights of
the seminar which counted with the acti-
ve support of several of the Riyadh team
members such as Margarita Sánchez who
was interviewed and talked about the lives
of western women in Riyadh.
The interview was a great success and the-
re were many interesting moments such as
when Margarita dressed up in the typical
and mandatory “abaya” worn by women in
Saudi Arabia.
Santiago Ruiz, the deputy manager of the
Middle East Zone and head of the project
was photographed with some of the mem-
bers of his team in Riyadh who were in Ma-
drid on those days.
The start of a new culture
FCC in the World is the start of a new pha-
se for FCC, a global reference company
in environmental, water and infrastructure
services, where people, projects and em-
ployees play the leading role in the affairs
of the company. Promoting a culture of
knowledge and collaboration among the di-
fferent areas, promoting international profi-
les capable of being project leaders throug-
hout the world is the key to our company’s
success.
