For more than 30 years, FCC Construcción

dernisation of breakwaters, quays and jet-

One project that is particularly noteworthy

is the floating breakwater of Monaco, the

largest of its type worldwide. This fantastic

piece of engineering is in fact a double-hull

reinforced concrete ship 352 metres long

with a displacement of 165,000 tons. The

floating breakwater has enabled the princi-

pality to improve the sheltering of the Port

of La Condamine and significantly boost its

capacity.
