The tender process began in Fe-

bruary 2015. The Castile and León

branch, managed by Javier Rivas

Gavela, and the one in Barcelona,

with Xavier Martin Garriga and Xa-

vier Grau Alafont at the helm, joined

forces to prepare the proposals that

were submitted at the end of August.

The proposals contemplated the pro-

vision of 39 services.

Following the first classification in

October, only 4 of the 12 compa-

nies bidding for the contract remai-

ned in the negotiation process with

Renault Nissan Purchasing (RNPO).

FCC was subsequently selected as

the company with the best techni-

cal proposal. The proposal improved

upon the services provided at the

factories where the Company was

working already. After reaching an

agreement on the financial aspects

of the operation with the World and

European Corporate Management

of the Renault-Nissan Alliance, FCC

was chosen as the sole supplier. For

the Company, this represents is a

historical contract.

The process

Thanks to the great results in Palencia,

where production increased and a great

work team with exceptional expertise was

formed, in 2011, the Renault-Nissan Allian-

ce renewed the contract and decided to

expand the service to the Valladolid and

Seville factories.

FCC will provide cleaning

services at all Renault-

Nissan Alliance locations,

including Palencia,

Valladolid, Ávila, Madrid,

Seville, Barcelona,

Cantabria, Moncada and

Cacia (Portugal)

In the following years, FCC continued to

optimise its services, offering new innova-

tive solutions that cemented the relations

with the Renault-Nissan Alliance. In the be-

ginning of 2015, the car manufacturer put

out to tender a contract for ancillary servi-

ces at its automobile factories in Spain and

Portugal that was to be awarded to a sole

service provider.
