AGUSTÍN GARCÍA GILA,
chairman of FCC Medio Am-
biente. As executive chairman, he replaces José Luis de
la Torre, who is retiring after 44 years’ service. García Gila,
who graduated in Industrial Engineering from ICAI, com-
menced his career as a project engineer at Material Auxi-
liar de Electrificación (MADE) in 1979. Two years later, he
transferred to FCC, where he gained experience at all levels
of the Environment division, from Supervisor to his current
position as General Manager.

Services
JORDI PAYET PÉREZ,
general manager, he replaces Agustín
García Gila, recently appointed chairman of FCC Medioam-
bientales. Payet Garcia is an industrial engineer with a degree
from Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Industrial de Bar-
celona (ETSIIB) and a PADE degree from IESE. He started his
professional career in 1980 at IFAC, a company engaging in
installations, joining FCC a year later at the Department of Stu-
dies and Projects of the East Andalucía branch. In 1983 he
was appointed Production Manager at the Sewage and Indus-
trial Cleaning Department in Barcelona and subsequently as
the Representative of the Tarragona-Lleida Environment office.
In 1988 he held the post of director of the Levante I Office
of the Environment division in Tarragona-Lleida and in 1996,
the director of the Zone I of the environment Division with six
branch offices reporting to him, the job he has held until now.
JUAN RICOTE GARBAJOSA,
financial director of Environ-
mental services, he succeeds Alberto Alcañiz en the Envi-
ronmental Services Area. Ricote Garbajosa has a degree in
Economics and Business Administration from Universidad
Autónoma de Madrid. He began his professional career in
185 s an Accounting and Tax advisor. In 1988, Ricote held
the post of Administrative and Financial Director at the French
multinational ALGECO. He joined FCC Medio Ambiente in
1990 where he occupied several posts, firstly as the head of
the Accounting Department in the Urban Environment Divi-
sion in 1990 and later as head of the Department of Verifica-
tion and Integration of the Balances, Urban Environment Divi-
sion. In 1994, Ricote Garbajosa was appointed director of the
Administration Central Services the Environment Department,
the job he has held to date.
PAU MARTÍN ZAMORA,
director of Zone I, replaces Jordi
Payet. An Industrial Engineer graduate of the Technical Es-
cuela Técnica Superior of Industrial Engineering in Barce-
lona and with an MBA degree from ESADE, Martín Zamora
began his professional career in an electronics company. In
1975, he joined Agromán as the head of Building Projects
where he worked until 1982. In 1983 he joined FCC where
he held several jobs as head of the services department
in Barcelona and as head of Production, among others,
until being appointed the director of the Barcelona Capital
and Balearic Islands offices, the post which he currently
occupies.
