FCC
executes a contract for
the construction of the Riyadh metro
On 1 October, ADA, Ar Riyadh Develop-
ment Authority and FAST, the consortium
awarded the metro project in which FCC
(28.16% stake) is one of its partner, officia-
lly executed the contract for the construc-
tion of Riyadh metro.
The receipt and announcement of the “no-
tice to proceed” was foreseen for the first
week of November. This document marks
the start of the project and is the initial date
of the contractually established 5-year
term for the execution of the project.
