Safety and Health at Work visited the Las
Dehesas plant to examine in situ the prac-
tical results of the management measures
to improve the prevention of occupational
hazards and the fights against accidents at
the work place.
The biomethanisation plants at Parque
Valdemingómez (Madrid) make this one of
the most important treatment facilities in
Europe thanks to its technological and in-
novative capabilities. It is one of the largest
facilities of its kind and unique because of
its digester system.
The environmental aspects at the Las Dehe-
sas plant are managed by FCC. The plant is
a model of balance, combining production
activity and respect for the environment. Its
treatment installations and systems make it
possible to absorb all the waste left at the
Valdemingómez Technological Park.
