water The brain that analyses water quality Aqualia’s laboratory in Oviedo becomes a national benchmark Aqualia, in collaboration with Ovie- do City Council, has inaugurated its renovated facilities and new equipment for the Central Water Quality Laboratory, in which more than 2.5 million euros have been invested. The laboratory expands its analytical capacity, adapts to the new version of the recently published ISO 17025/2017 stan- dard, and is at the forefront of wa- ter laboratories in Spain in terms of equipment, personnel and service. The Mayor of Oviedo, Wenceslao López; the Deputy Minister of the Environment of the Principality of Asturias and President of Cada- sa, Benigno Fernández Fano; and the Spanish Director of Aqualia, Santiago Lafuente, together with a broad institutional and business representation, toured the new fa- cilities.
