W E L L N E S S W E L L N E S S 33 for a very healthy Company The Human Resources Department recently presented the Be Aqualia initiative at a conference held at the Federico Salmón offices in Madrid. The project was born with the aim of unifying and strengthening the keys to a healthy organisation throu- gh the promotion of actions based on the development of programmes that focus on attracting talent and equal opportunities. The certification of the company with the Familiarly Responsible Company (EFR) seal, the Develop- ment Programme for the Manage- ment of Women with High Potential, the Mentoring programme, the Otto Walter course, the training sessions on Prevention of Occupational Ha- zards, among others, are some of the initiatives included in the Be Aqualia concept. All of them have a common denominator: a com- mitment to leadership, job quality, work-life balance, professional de- velopment, Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, and the creation of a Community among employees. The Be Aqualia concept aims to in- volve all workers - the company’s main assets - in order to achieve a quality working environment, guided by leaders who generate trust and transmit a commitment to ethical values and principles for optimum professional and personal perfor- mance. In short, a healthy and safe environment in which communica- tion and participation are promoted. A concept that brings together the pillars of the company’s global Human Resources strategy, linked to the vision of the com- pany to be recognized for the health, well-being, happiness, commitment and productivity of its employees. Aqualia’s management is committed to a company where work, personal and family development reach the highest levels.
