P E O P L E S 21 P E O P L E S FCC and Escuela de Organización (Industrial Organisation School, EOI Spanish acronym) have closed the la- test training programme for high-po- tential women, the aim of which is to facilitate the acquisition and develo- pment of managerial skills and abi- lities, focusing on key aspects such as equal opportunities, diversity and business ethics. Employees of FCC Medio Ambiente, Aqualia, FCC Construcción and Cen- tral Services have successfully com- pleted this edition of the Development Programme for the Management of Women with High Potential that was developed at the EOI. This programme is promoted and partially financed by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equali- Women from the FCC Group successfully complete the Development Programme for the Management of Women with High Potential ty through the Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality and its main objective is to offer comprehen- sive training to prepare these women to assume, in the future, greater ma- nagerial responsibilities with a multi- disciplinary perspective. In this way, its ultimate aim is to make companies aware of the benefit of having female talent and thus move towards a balan- ced participation of men and women in key decision-making positions. The course offers multidisciplinary training that aims to enhance the managerial skills of participants and enrich personal and professional de- velopment, promoting teamwork and interrelation between participants, creating a network of contacts be- tween teachers and students. This new edition was carried out be- tween the months of March 2018 and October, combining face-to-face meetings with online training periods. Throughout the course, the subjects developed included finance, mana- gerial skills for the management of efficient and motivated teams, ope- rational management in order to get to know the functional areas of the business organisation, management in companies to discover the keys to innovation and identify business opportunities, as well as an individual coaching process.
