P E O P L E S 16 P E O P L E S Wychavon District Council and its waste and recycling collections partner FCC Environment launched an initiative for residents to give na- mes to the 15 new trucks in the ser- vice fleet. Once the names had been chosen, they were placed on the cab doors and the winners were invited to the depot for their presentation. It has been a source of pride for us that residents became involved in this initiative”. “It was wonderful inviting our winners in so they could see their trucks be- fore they took to the roads with their personalised livery,” said FCC Envi- ronment Area Manager, Mike Stass. “The 15 state of art trucks will be working hard for years to come co- llecting waste fractions”. The names chosen by residents were placed above the cab door of the trucks.
