Contract for the refurbishment of the Philosophy Building at the Uni- versity of Zaragoza Extension and refurbishment of the Santa Bárbara Hospital in Soria FCC to enlarge “Jorge Chávez” Airport (Peru) The construction area of the FCC Group was awarded a contract for the refurbishment of the Philosophy building of the University of Zaragoza. The Consortium (FCC In- dustrial, Copisa, Estructuras Aragón) formed and led by FCC Construccion, will develop the reform project that in- cludes three fundamental interventions: refurbishment of the historic Faculty building; the demolition of the Philology pavilion and its replacement by a new building, and the urbanization of the surroundings. The consortium formed by FCC Construcción and FCC In- dustrial has been selected for the development of the con- tract to extend and refurbish the Santa Bárbara hospital in Soria. The project is planned in two stages: in the first, the construction of the extension building will be undertaken. FCC Construcción obtains the first certificates of completion for the work on the Doha Metro (Qatar) The company has obtained the first Taking Over certifica- tes for the Doha Metro project corresponding to two of the three elevated stations: the Economic Zone and Al Wakra. The expansion project of the Jorge Chávez International Airport includes the design, construction of an airstrip, a new terminal of Jorge Chávez International Airport along with its contact and remote platform for aircraft, urbani- zation works and access to a business complex with new logistics areas and warehouses, parking areas, a buil- ding for facilities and power plant, a new control tower and a building for a fire station.
