The company is hi- ghly specialised in rail transport infrastructure, having built over 2,600 kilometres of railways. FCC Construcción executed the Doha Metro Red Line pro- ject in Qatar, awarded by the international magazine ENR as the best metro in the world in 2019. In Central America, it has built the first and second line of the Panama metro and is currently extending this last line to Tocumen International Airport. In Peru, it is developing line 2 and 4 of the Lima metro. In Saudi Arabia, it is completing the construction of the largest engineering and construction contract developed by a Spani- sh company: the Riyadh metro.
