Our colleague Camino Martinez de la Riva, has become one of the leading players in the INAS Global Games world championship, held in Brisbane (Australia), by winning nine medals in swimming. Four of them have been gold medals, in 400, 100 and 50 meters free, as well as in mixed relays. All of them representing the Spanish swimming team of the Federación de Deportes para personas con Discapacidad In - telectual (FEDDI). Nine medals, the record of our colleague Camino in the INAS Global Games Since 2017, Camino has been wor - king in Aqualia’s People and Cultu - re team, where she carries out her functions in the Training area. The same boldness and spirit of self-improvement that she demons - trates every day have led her to be - come one of the sensations of the 2019 INAS Global Games, a cham - pionship where more than 800 athle - tes from the five continents have participated, and which is one of the world’s leading sporting events for people with intellectual disabilities.
