FCC Medio Ambiente has been providing waste collection and street and beach cleaning services in the city of Almuñécar since 2008, and once again the City Council has awarded the service for a period of 10 years. Thanks to its privileged climate, mild temperatures throughout the year and its location at the foot of a fertile Tropical Valley sheltered by the mountains of Granada and overlooking the Mediterranean, Al- muñécar has been an enclave co- veted by numerous people since the dawn of history, as expressed by the local tourism website of the town of Granada.
