The desalination plants in lbiza and Sant Antoni
receive recognition for their good prevention management
The insurance company Asepeyo and the
General Labour and Health at Work Direc-
torate has given recognition, by means of a
certification diploma, to the zero accident
rates achieved at the Ibiza and Sant Antoni
desalination plants thanks to their excellent
prevention management.
This award underscores the exemplary bu-
siness performance after two years without
recording any accident at the workplace
requiring sick leave or any work-related di-
sease.
The success of this zero index, deserving of
this award, is due to the excellent manage-
ment and the joint efforts of the Company’s
workers in implementing preventive measu-
res, policies, and practices such as training
and research in accident related issues.

Romero and Cristina Ramón, respectively,
collected the award at an event held at the
SOIB Bacladona Training Centre. Those
who attended the event included Lour-
des Cardona, the secretary of the regional
government’s Business and Job Promo-
tion department, and the local manager of
Asepeyo in the Balearic Islands, Guillermo
Remón.
Cardona pointed out that “the award-
winning companies are a reference in our
community because they demonstrate that
there are many businessmen and workers
who perform their job well, adopting the ne-
cessary prevention mechanisms to reduce
the rate of accidents to zero.
