the city of the Aurora
Norway is a country of many contrasts:
The tranquillity of the fiords; the quiet rocky
southern coast; the North Sea which flows
into the Atlantic; the magic of the Northern
lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis;
the midnight sun; all these identify Norway,
making it a unique country and a great pla-
ce to live.
The country is experiencing rapid econo-
mic growth. The third oil-exporting country
after Russia and Saudi Arabia, Norway is
also rich in natural resources, such as hy-
droelectric power, gas, minerals, fishing,
and forestry. Away from the industry and
pollution, however, we find a spot surroun-
ded by nature in its purest state which pro-
vides tranquillity and offers the opportunity
