receives
Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER)
award for its social commitment
Mr. Eric Marotel, CEMUSA’s Managing Di-
rector, was presented with the award by
Her Royal Highness the Princess of Astu-
rias during the official ceremony held by
FEDER in the General Council of the Ju-
diciary headquarters in order to celebrate
World Rare Disease Day. Ana Mato, the Mi-
nister for Health, Social Affairs and Equality,
and Carlos Divar, the Chair of the General
Council of the Judiciary, were among the
personalities attending the event.

In the field of corporate social respon-
sibility, CEMUSA, in line with the com-
mitment of the FCC Group, collabora-
tes regularly with organizations such
as Unicef, Doctors without Borders,
the Foundation against Drugs, and the
World Nature Forum by enabling them
to use their advertising space to disse-
minate their messages, showing that
street furniture has a social and public
service role for the benefit of all citizens.

edition, CEMUSA has received the “Solida-
rity with those affected” Award for suppor-
ting the awareness-raising and sensitizing
actions carried out by FEDER to celebrate
Rare Disease Day.
CEMUSA began to collaborate with FEDER
in 2009 and since then has helped by
allowing the free use of their advertising
space to promote campaigns launched by
FEDER in order to raise awareness on the
existence and problems of these diseases.
In 2011 in particular, CEMUSA used the
street furniture of many Spanish cities to
advertise their awareness raising campaign
using the image of soccer player Andrés
Iniesta.
