sector, in which FCC Internacional (Toron-to) participated with a round table discus-sion with the participation of members of the Carpenter Union of Ontario and Toronto (Canada) discussed risk and safety aspects in urban railway transport systems.

During the Laboralia Fair, the 1st Agora In-ternational Road Safety seminar took pla-ce in which FCC also took part in the or-ganization committee and participated in the Panel of Experts on Good Practices,

presenting the FCC Strategic Road Safety Plan and its commitment in the fght against traffc accidents.

2nd Table on Prevention

Rounding up the participation of FCC in the various activities carried out during the Fair, the Corporate Director of Safety and Health, Juan Carlos Sáez de Rus, a mem-ber of the Laboralia organization committee and vice-chairman of AESPLA, participated in the round table discussion on prevention, sponsored by various entities, including the Mapfre Foundation. Among the topics dis-cussed was the need for a change in the culture preventive innovation in companies and on whether safety and health should just be restricted to the workplace.

Laboralia has become a commercial mee-ting point and a forum for debate for pro-fessionasls in the prevention sector a well as, and most importantly, as an instrument

in addition to the institutional efforts to im-prove occupational hazard prevention and health at the workplace This year, another step was taken in achieving the objective of contributing to the dissemination of a preventive culture, a key premise in FCC’s policy on safety and health.
