Cementos Portland Valderrivas maintains its
Zero Accidents Objective
During the month of June, Cementos Port-land Valderrivas succeeded in maintaining its zero accidents objective. We want to congratulate our colleagues for this achie-vement and thank them for their efforts.
CPV Group has managed to reduce the ac-cident rate by 49% over the last three years and all of its cement factories in Spain have been awarded the OHS AS 18001 Certif-cate.
Great progress has been achieved in pre-venting accidents. The Joint Prevention Department was created last February. The department is part of CPV Group’s Safety and Occupational Health Department and attached to the Corporate Division of Hu-man Resources.
We detail the key fgures so that we can better appreciate this great work and have an idea of the importance and diffculties in this achievement:
